Mobility Management is a new concept to promote sustainable transport.
The core of Mobility Management are "soft" measures (e.g. information or coordination of existing user services), which enhance the effectiveness of "hard" measures of traffic planning (e.g. new tram lines, new roads and new bike tracks). Mobility Management tools (in comparison to "hard" measures) do not necessarily require large investments measured against their high potential to change mobility behaviour. The objective of Mobility Management is to reduce single car use. Read more about Mobility Management in The World of Mobility Management.
